A psychometric test is any activity or assessment
that is conducted in order to evaluate an individual in terms of a variety of factors
that includes, but is not limited to, skills, knowledge, abilities, personality traits,
attitudes and job/academic potential. They can take the form of aptitude tests, IQ/EQ tests,
behavioural tests, and assessment centres.
There are no “right” or “wrong” outcomes of psychometric tests, and the results are only
as valid as the trained, certified experts who are able to accurately interpret them.
At EJAsia, we offer a range of psychometric assessments, including:
Emergenetics Profile
Emergenetics is a personality assessment tool and organisational
development program that aims to help individuals and teams understand their thinking and
behavioral preferences to improve their communication, collaboration, and performance.
It is based on the idea that individuals have a unique blend of thinking and behavioral
attributes that shape their personality, communication style, and problem-solving approach.
The assessment tool measures four thinking attributes (Analytical, Structural, Social, and
Conceptual) and three behavioral attributes (Expressiveness, Assertiveness, and Flexibility)
to create a profile that reflects an individual's thinking and behavioral preferences.
Emergenetics emphasizes the value of diversity in thinking and encourages individuals and
teams to embrace their unique strengths and work collaboratively to achieve common goals.
It offers workshops, coaching, and other development programs to help individuals and
organisations leverage their Emergenetics profiles to enhance communication, collaboration,
and performance.
Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale (DASS)
A set of questionnaires designed to measure the severity
of symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and stress. It is a self-report measure that
asks individuals to rate the frequency and intensity of various symptoms over the past week.
DASS consists of three subscales:
Stress Assessment
The purpose of a stress assessment is to evaluate the
impact that stress is having on an individual's physical, emotional, and psychological
health. The assessment typically includes questions about the individual's daily routine,
life events, and coping strategies.
Stress assessments can be useful in a variety of settings, including workplaces, schools,
and healthcare settings. They may be used to identify stress-related risks and develop
targeted interventions to address them.
Values Assessment
Value assessment refers to the process of assessing an individual's personal values, beliefs, and attitudes. The purpose of value assessment in psychology is to gain insight into an individual's core values and how these values influence their behavior, decision-making, and overall well-being.
Personality Profile
Personality profiling is the process of analyzing an individual's personality characteristics, traits, and behaviors to gain insight into their personality type, preferences, strengths, and weaknesses. Personality profiling can be used for a variety of purposes, such as personal growth, career development, team building, and organisational management.
Depression Literacy
Depression literacy refers to a person's knowledge and understanding of depression, its symptoms, causes, and available treatment options. It includes the ability to recognize depression in oneself or others, and to understand the impact of depression on individuals, families, and society.
